Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cargo Charter Broker to join the team in Warsaw or Katowice, Poland. The successful candidate will be passionate about the aviation industry, target- and goal-driven, with experience in sales/brokerage and a background in cargo.

Responsibilities

• To manage all aspects of a cargo charter flight from initial request to offers, tracking through to booking and flight operation completion.
• To maximise business opportunities by offering tailored solutions to meet client requirements within budgetary and operational constraints while ensuring profit for the company.
• To generate and manage a portfolio of clients and actively develop new business through proactive leads, client recommendations and networking.
• Communicate effectively with aircraft providers for offers and negotiate to procure best value for clients.
• Evaluate suitable commission schedules and ensure timely offers with detailed, accurate information for clients.
• Follow up regularly and work towards confirmation; ensure all contracts, insurance and regulatory matters are accurate and compliant with company requirements.
• Verify supplier contracts and ensure all terms comply with the charter agreement; issue flight briefs with all flight-related information.
• Liaise with clients to identify requirements and source suitable, competitive aircraft charter solutions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and new business leads to maximise opportunities and client loyalty.
• Keep clients informed of any developments related to bookings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales role within cargo aviation
• Knowledge of the local market
• Background in cargo charter sales
• Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship building, account management and customer service skills
• Ability to balance client needs with business objectives
