About The Role

As a Solution Consultant, you will be a key member of the Business Transformation Office, driving strategic initiatives to enhance business operations and deliver exceptional value. You will lead independent consulting engagements, applying a comprehensive approach to business process transformation and technology change solutions. Your expertise in financial modeling, target operating models, and effective discovery will shape future‑state solutions, while you identify and model solutions for outsourcing and centralization.

What You’ll Do

  • Solution Strategy and Business Case Development:
    • Lead independent consultant engagements across CBRE, from initial discovery to final implementation.
    • Diagnose key business problems by conducting thorough research and engaging with stakeholders, then design specific, impactful solutions.
    • Develop comprehensive business cases, including financial modelling and projections, to justify and quantify the value of proposed solutions.
    • Identify and model efficiency opportunities in the short, medium, and long term, preparing and delivering outstanding presentations to senior stakeholders that summarize key findings, benefits, and recommended actions.
    • Conduct detailed analysis and modelling of outsourcing or centralization opportunities, including cost‑benefit analysis and risk assessment.
  • Operating Model Design and Process Transformation:
    • Develop and implement strategies for outsourcing or centralization opportunities, outlining the scope and business case for moving work to the Business Services Organization (BSO).
    • Constructively review current ways of working and Target Operating Models to drive forward new ways of working with BSO as a solid partner for the CBRE Businesses.
    • Conduct workshops for process discovery, creating detailed process maps that document current‑state designs, interdependencies, and high‑level workloads.
    • Create efficient, digitized, future‑state Target Operating Models with associated RACI matrices to clarify roles and responsibilities.
    • Document processes end‑to‑end using best practices like BPMN, setting up a Process Taxonomy, and defining critical inputs and outputs.
    • Make practical use of Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma knowledge to deliver discovery or improvement opportunities workshops.
  • Technology Integration and Change Management:
    • Identify and propose relevant technologies through internal and market research, including Proof of Concepts, to support transformation goals.
    • Collaborate closely with key teams such as the PMO, Change Management, AI Business Transformation, and BSO delivery and IT teams to ensure seamless modelling, delivery, integration, and adoption of solutions.
    • Interact regularly with various teams located in different geographies, participating in the solutioning and implementation process for new accounts.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
    • Develop best practices and lessons learned from each project, continuously improving working procedures and methodologies.

What You’ll Need

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in a similar role (Transformation in GBS/SSC or Business/Technology Solutions), with a minimum of 3–4 years in a consultancy environment.
  • High level of comfort and proven experience in finance and accounting in a service centre environment and ideally real estate business knowledge.
  • Exceptional research skills and comfort using various tools, including GenAI, to source knowledge for solution development.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build positive working relationships with senior‑level stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of process improvement (Lean Six Sigma, preferably Black Belt certified), change management, and project management methodologies.
  • Strong collaborative problem‑solving skills with the ability to see the broader picture and think “out‑of‑the‑box.”
  • Strong proficiency in creating documentation such as process maps (BPMN) and target operating models (RACI).
  • Proven experience working cross‑culturally and driving results across various geographical locations.
  • Advanced project management certification in Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI/PMP is preferred.
  • Some expertise in business case modelling, including financial projections, efficiency identification, and cost‑benefit analysis. A CIMA certification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on the project.
