We are looking for a Business Analyst – Financial Markets & Group Treasury to join our Financial Accounting Tribe in Warsaw. In this position, you will serve as a key intermediary between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented. You will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end initiatives, managing dependencies across squads and programs, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial accounting processes and systems.

- Professional proficiency in English; Polish language skills are an asset.
- Translate business needs into clear Finance user requirements.
- Act as the main contact for front-to-end Finance initiatives.
- Coordinate and align activities across squads, tribes, and programs.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog management (epics, features, user stories).
- Analyze data flows and user needs to improve processes and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts on integrating new portfolios.
- Ensure accounting standards and controls are implemented and maintained.
- Support testing (functional, acceptance, migration) to deliver changes effectively.
- Provide second-line functional support and monitor end-of-day accounting processes.

- Master’s degree in Accounting, Business IT, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services with strong knowledge of Wholesale Banking and product accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and SQL/data analysis skills.
- Experience in impact analysis, functional design, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with international stakeholders.
- Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of Hedge Accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with FMGT FrontOffice/BackOffice systems (Murex, Summit, Sophis, Calypso).
- Experience maintaining accounting specifications for FX, MM, Swaps, Securities, and Repo products.
- Knowledge of ledger processes (e.g., Cost of Funding).
- Ability to create documentation, user manuals, and process descriptions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in international environments.
