In 2017, salmon harvest amounted to 370,000 tonnes (GWE). The company, in Poland employs over 4,000 employees and manufactures in 7 production plants in 3 locations. In addition, a Business Support Center employing over 140 people is located in Gdańsk.

Job Responsibilities:

• designing solutions using Snowflake and ETL/ELT workflows
• monitoring the health of the Azure platform as part of process efficiency and failure-free operations
• solving current problems/obstacles in cooperation with clients
• data acquisition and modeling
• data flow monitoring

Candidates are expected to:

• A total of 5+ years working in IT (DW/ETL/BI projects preferred) and 3+ years working as a Data Architect
• Experience with data storage technologies in Azure (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database)
• Knowledge of data flow and transformation capabilities in Azure (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Analytics, Data Bricks, Stream Analytics)
• Experience designing: solutions using Snowflake, efficient and robust ETL/ELT workflows, schedulers, and event-based triggers
• Prior experience in Data Mining, Data Engineering and Data Modeling
• Proven ability to work with customers to understand requirements and anticipate data mining solutions
• Strong oral and written English language skills
