About the Role
As our AWS Engineer, you’ll be essential in supporting Solutions30 Group cloud-first approach by ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our AWS infrastructure. Working closely with the AWS Architect, you’ll help maintain robust IT systems, assist with cloud migration, and ensure compliance with security standards such as NIS2 and ISO/IEC 27001.
Key Responsibilities - Security & Compliance: Implement Solutions30 security policies across AWS systems, collaborating to address security risks and ensure compliance with NIS2 and ISO 27001 standards. - System Maintenance: Manage and update IT systems, networks (inc. firewalls) and AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and security. - Access Management: Oversee user access controls and identity management, safeguarding critical infrastructure. - Issue Resolution: Monitor systems for errors and suspicious activities, addressing issues promptly and assisting with technical support tickets via JIRA. - Collaboration: Work alongside the IT Architect and cross-functional teams, including key Solutions30 offshore partners to integrate infrastructure into development workflows seamlessly. - Cloud Optimization: Support the migration and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including legacy system migrations. - Monitoring & Insights: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to proactively detect issues and improve system performance insights.
Wymagania stanowiska
- System Administration Expertise: Strong experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments, particularly within AWS. Windows system administration skills is an asset. - Cloud & DevOps Tools: Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps practices, with experience using automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform. - Database & Network Management: Proficiency in managing databases, networks, and OS security, ensuring robust and stable infrastructure. - Database Management: Experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining PostgreSQL and MySQL databases within AWS environments, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance. - Security: Ability to apply access controls, encryption, and backup solutions, aligning with compliance standards. - Optimization & Troubleshooting: Proficiency in optimizing queries, managing indexing, and resolving performance bottlenecks. - Monitoring & Maintenance: Familiarity with monitoring tools and proactive strategies to detect and address issues before they impact applications. - Security Frameworks: Familiarity with NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001, and best practices for securing cloud systems. - Monitoring Solutions: Ability to deploy and manage monitoring tools to ensure high availability and rapid issue detection. - Technical Troubleshooting: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving system-level issues, including kernel and virtual machine problems. - Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, IT, and security teams. - Languages: English (professional fluency); French is an asset.
What We’re Looking For - Experience: Minimum of 5 years in system administration, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure management, with a strong focus on AWS. - Cloud Project Support: Proven experience in supporting cloud migration and optimizing AWS infrastructure. - Familiarity with Tools: Knowledge of JIRA for issue tracking and experience with cloud migration and integration workflows.
