Due to the expansion of our consultancy business in Poland, we are looking for a skilled individual for the position of Java Developer.

Candidates must be located and have the right to work in Poland.

The Opportunity:

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will primarily work on Test Automation along with some Manual Testing activities. The role requires designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation packs for required functions/tools for HSBCnet.

What you’ll do:

1. Design and implement test automation using Java Selenium WebDriver, IntelliJ, Maven, JUnit, and Cucumber.
2. API testing with Postman/RestAssured/Tosca.
3. Review and update the existing automation framework.
4. Stabilize the existing regression suite and bring it up to date with the latest code base.
5. Ensure various regression packs are designed in sync with the releases and contribute to the maintenance of those regression packs.
6. Support test transformation initiatives; reflect continuous improvement & implement best-in-class practices fit for the programme.
7. Participate in Sprint planning sessions & provide sequencing for user story development to enable Test progress within the sprint.
8. Provide an informed view into test estimation activity and test metrics by knowledge of the application, domain, and testing experience.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

1. Key skills in Selenium with Java test automation experience.
2. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
3. API testing experience with Postman/RestAssured/Tosca/Karate framework.
4. Good OOP knowledge and clear Java concepts.
5. Experience working in Agile with hands-on experience on JIRA tool.
6. Experience in Manual Testing, creating Test scenarios from requirement documents/user stories.
7. Good analytical and planning skills.
8. Understanding of business and organizational issues.
9. Ability to continuously give feedback by stringently following up Performance Level Agreement.
