About the project

In this role, you will contribute to the organization’s vision and strategic goals. Every day, you will apply your IT knowledge and technical expertise to solve complex challenges. You will be an essential resource, providing valuable insights and solutions that enhance organizational efficiency.

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure, applications, and cloud resources.
  • Integrate Ansible with other DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to create seamless end-to-end automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Ansible automation issues while providing support to other teams using Ansible.
  • Ensure the stability of the Ansible automation platform and secure the SLA of automation services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Ansible-based solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and reusable content for Ansible automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ansible features, modules, and emerging trends in infrastructure as code and DevOps.

Employer requirements

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Certified Ansible Specialist certification.
  • A Bachelors Degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Ansible Automation Platform or AWX, ideally in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong proficiency in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Knowledge of platform engineering and core infrastructure components, including Active Directory and DNS, along with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Optional

  • Proficiency in web service development and integrating APIs (preferred).
