The Automation Developer is a new position that will play a pivotal role in deploying, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Danaher enterprise-wide cybersecurity orchestration and automation solutions.

This position is within the Danaher Corporate Information Security team, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Cyber Threat Engineering. This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Krakow.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver Operational Priorities – Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation playbooks, scripts, and integrations that support enterprise-wide cybersecurity event detection, response, and remediation activities.
  • Execute with Operational Excellence and Scalability – Develop solutions that are well-documented, modular, easy to maintain, and expandable as future automation needs grow.
  • Collaborate for Success – Partner with security operations, engineering, and infrastructure teams across Danaher and its operating companies to streamline security workflows.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, focusing on automation, orchestration, or security tool integration.
  • Experience with SOAR platforms such as Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel SOAR.
  • Programming and scripting expertise in Python, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Experience developing API integrations with enterprise technologies and API authentication methods.
  • Experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation, including flow diagrams, procedures, and use cases.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in software development, security operations, or incident response.
  • Experience managing enterprise security platforms on Windows, Linux, UNIX, or containerized environments.
  • Proficiency with regular expressions for parsing and pattern matching.
