Job Description:

As the Associate Consultant, you will perform underwriting support activities associated with new business, renewals, account maintenance, and models and systems. You will utilize communication and relationship-building skills to work closely with underwriters, brokers, and various departments within the company.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Provision of underwriting support and analysis
• Research and clerical support (quotes, submissions, policy documentation)
• Operation of rating models and underwriting systems, involvement in pricing and underwriting processes
• Underwriting administration throughout the process, including system input and maintenance
• Ad hoc analysis and tasks

You will report to the local Assistant Manager.

We’re looking for someone with these skills and abilities:

• University degree or relevant experience
• Previous experience in the insurance industry
• Fluent in English and German
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Willingness and ability to learn
• Self-driven with a sense of responsibility
• Attention to quality, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
