Accounts Payable Team Leader

Join Verisk to lead the Accounts Payable Team and drive process excellence in a global shared service environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of employees, implement HR policies, and oversee recruitment, development, evaluation, training, and motivation.
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure continuous development and high engagement.
• Coordinate, implement, and improve recording, verifying, and settling processes for vendor invoices, expenses, and payments manage approval workflows, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Monitor process performance, ensure timely vendor payments, maintain quality standards, safeguard data security, and conduct audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Create documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support efficient and accurate settlement processes.
• Actively participate in system development and collaborate with other departments to ensure the flow of necessary information.
• Respond to business partner questions and complaints, resolve escalations, and provide support to managers, coordinators, and leaders.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and information security policies, communicate policies to the team, verify access to data and IT resources, monitor application of security standards, and collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to improve procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors in line with competencies and capabilities.

Qualifications

• English proficiency B2/C1.
• Experience as a team leader, leading a team of 7+ members with a global scope.
• ERP system knowledge, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Operational experience in Accounts Payable and the shared service industry.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model based at the Cracow office as a full‑time employee.
