We are looking for a Software Developer who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment of ground-breaking product development and technologies. With network APIs, developers can easily access advanced 5G capabilities provided by service providers. This unlocks the opportunity to develop new enhanced applications and services, driving new revenue opportunities for the entire ecosystem, benefitting developers, service providers and enterprises. 


What you will do:


  • Design and develop backend microservices to be deployed in Kubernetes clusters. 
  • Ensure quality, testability, scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and security of the developed implementation and services. 
  • Work with the team and Product Owner in requirement/user story analysis. 
  • Support teammates and Software Architect on solution and architecture analysis. 
  • Learn and apply most up-to-date techniques, architecture, and open-source solutions. 
  • As a member of an agile development team, you will participate actively and help deliver a feature or use case End to End (E2E). 


Where E2E task includes:


  • Feature or use case design according to defined and specified user story and architecture. 
  • SW development Automated Unit Test and Feature Test.
  • E2E Test in development environment.
  • Provide Product documentation. 
  • Automation of the installation procedures according to the GNP Engineering framework.
  • Bug fixing.
  • Perform sprint demos, after each sprint to the stakeholders.
  • Deployment into lab environment. 

 

You will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience. 
  •  Min. 1 year of recent hands-on experience designing and developing software. 
  •  Desire to code at least 80% of the time. 
  •  Experience and knowledge in Java (JDK 17+), and Java-based languages (JavaScript) with experience in unit testing.
  •  Experience in distributed services, microservice architecture, service implementation and debugging in distributed applications in a Linux environment. 
  •  Good knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns. 
  •  Knowledge of Test-Driven development.
  •  Experience using Jira and Agile software development.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills. 

 

You might also bring (Nice to have):


  • Knowledge of SpringBoot. 
  • Experience in developing and deploying applications in Kubernetes or any other Kubernetes-compatible container orchestrator and service orchestration (Container, Docker, Kubernetes and Service Mesh). 
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. 
  • Knowledge in RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Free Open-Source Software, its principles, and licenses. 
  • Knowledge of Python, Golang.


This role requires work in a hybrid model from Ericsson office in Łódź (2-3 times from the office per week).
