IT Operations Specialist

Epico IT is a leading IT solutions provider, and we are currently seeking an IT Operations Specialist for a client based in the Gdańsk. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the retail company.

Location: Gdańsk – hybrid role

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar IT Operations Specialist position. 
• Strong general understanding of IT and experience of Linux operating systems (Debian) and MS Office applications. 
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Bash, MECM, PowerShell, Group Policy, Nagios or Zabbix 
• Open to learning new technologies 
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team 
• Good communication skills in English AND Polish

,[As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be part of IT Client Infrastructure team, who has the responsibility to maintain and support IT endpoint devices across the organization. The work is primarily focused on administrating, maintaining and supporting IT equipment in stores - most notably: Store servers, backoffice desktops, Point of Sale (POS) systems and electronic shelf labels (ESL)., You will be responsible for projects and maintenance - assignments, mostly large projects, although occasionally you will help with tasks from the third line of support. , Projects and tasks are handled via Jira and the ticket system. Requirements: Linux, Active Directory, Bash, MECM, PowerShell, Group Policy, Zabbix, Communication skills
